Imeachtaí Nollag

Thank you to everyone who has sent in money already for the Christmas Movie Night being run by Cairde on the 4^th of December, 5pm to 8pm. If you haven’t already done so and your child(ren) would like to attend, please ensure money is in no later than Monday as orders need to be made for food.

Tickets for Cairde’s Crannchur Nollag are going home with pupils on Monday. The raffle will be drawn on the night of our Christmas Show, Tuesday the 16^th of December, in St. Malachy’s High School. Please return raffle tickets and money to school by Friday the 12th of December. As ever, we are very grateful for any donations of prizes for the raffle.

Thanks also to everyone who has already sent in items for our Reverse Advent Calendar campaign in aid of The Pantry Foodbank, Newcastle. We are filling boxes up rightly and our school council are looking forward to making a donation next month before the Christmas break, on behalf of our school community.

As communicated yesterday, we'll be having our Dinnéar Nollag (Christmas Dinner) on Friday the 5th of December. Pupils are very welcome to come along to school that day wearing Christmas hats or Christmas jumpers.

Also a reminder folks that Aonach Nollag Ghlór Uachtar Tíre (Christmas Fair) is taking place next Saturday the 29^th of November in Castlewellan GAA from 10am to 4pm. There will be a special guest performance from recent Oireachtas na Samhna competition winners Ciorcal Amhránaíochta Bhunscoil Bheanna Boirche at 12pm, so please come along and give your support if you can.
