Big congratulations to our Rang 5 pupil Anna for her fantastic efforts with reading this year. From the start of term, Anna has read almost 1,100,000 words in our Accelerated Reader scheme, becoming our latest AR Word Millionaire! Anna was awarded this special certificate last week.
Altogether, from the start of this school year, our pupils from R4 to R7 have read a combined total of 11,023,025 words, completing over 1400 quizzes on the books in our Accelerated Reader scheme! That is an incredible statistic. Maith sibh gach duine!
Don’t forget about the library’s ‘Big Summer Read’ initiative over the summer break. We can’t wait to hear about all the books our pupils read over the holidays!
